Games like hell let loose8/17/2023 Unlike how a machine gunner may want a static position behind the team when attacking, you’re with the squad every step of the way. Possessing a fully-automatic chonker of a gun, they’re able to lay down a lot of hurt without sacrificing accuracy or maneuverability to the extent a machine gun would. The automatic rifleman is the best of the rifleman and assault classes. Play this class if you enjoy: up close brawls with superior fire rates, turning anyone on the business end of your Tommy gun into Swiss cheese. Proper position, patience, and bravery are the keys to success with this class. Of course, this comes with a trade off: enemies outside of 50 meters become very difficult to hit accurately. Since most other classes use either bolt-action or semi-auto weapons, SMGs are very powerful in close quarters. Your main priority as assault is to get in close to the enemy and do as much damage as possible. Instead of a rifle and ammo bag, you’re lugging around an automatic weapon like a submachine gun to light anyone’s face up who gets in your way. If you prefer having even less responsibilities than the rifleman, the assault class was made for you. Play this class if you enjoy: not worrying about anything except moving from point to point and shooting at people not wearing the same uniform as you. The weapons given to rifleman are all easy to use, with a selection of bolt-action and semi-automatic rifles depending on your nation. This class will give you ample opportunity to learn Hell Let Loose‘s mechanics and get you into combat without the stress of other responsibilities. Your responsibilities are few, consisting solely of giving ammo to anyone who needs it and following your squad leader’s orders. As such, it is one of the best starting points for a new player. The rifleman class is the bread and butter of a squad. Play this class if you enjoy: strategizing at the team level, reading maps, and giving your hapless squadmates direction. Games are won and lost based on garrison placement, so finding good spots to set up shop and call in supplies should always be at the forefront of your mind. The second is the garrison, a sturdier spawn point that requires supplies to build, but allows the entire team to spawn there. Be careful, though, because nearby enemies can “burn” the outpost by proximity, rendering that spawn point useless. The first is the outpost, a free rally point that allows your squadmates to spawn on that position. Officers have the ability to place two different types of spawns. While your combat skills will be useful in this role, your primary concerns are managing your squad members and placing spawn points. Infantry OfficerĪs their name suggests, officers are in charge of leading their squad, coordinating with other squad leaders, and following the commander’s orders. We may revisit their nuances later on but for the purpose of this guide, we’ll be focusing on the Infantry and Recon categories. A tank commander is a vehicle-bound officer whereas the crewmen crew vehicles like tanks both are necessary in order to use those kinds of vehicles effectively. NOTE: While there is both a Tank Commander and Crewman class, both of these classes are straightforward enough to not need further explanation. By the end of this guide, you should have an idea of what each class is best at, what it’s supposed to be doing, and if it’s a good fit for your playstyle. While all the Hell Let Loose classes to choose from may seem like a lot, we’re gonna break it down and explain each class’s role. Games like Squad, Post Scriptum, and Hell Let Loose throw tons of playstyles and options at you from the get-go. Team-based games can be overwhelming at first.
